A solar-powered GPS tracker for livestock is a device that attaches to an animal—typically in the form of a collar or ear tag—and uses solar energy to power its GPS system. These trackers send real-time data about the location, health, and behavior of the animal to a mobile app or web platform. The unique advantage of a solar-powered GPS tracker is its ability to harness sunlight to recharge the device’s battery, ensuring continuous operation without the need for manual recharging or battery replacements. This makes it an ideal solution for farmers who need a reliable, long-lasting tracking device for their livestock, particularly in remote areas where access to power sources may be limited.
